About Us

Kevin and Dana Kelley, the husband-and-wife team behind Kid Champion in Little Rock, Arkansas, are passionate about unlocking the potential of young children. Their journey into early childhood education was inspired by a shared love for kids and a desire to create a high-quality daycare and preschool program in the heart of Little Rock.

Kevin, a dedicated football coach, believes in the power of teamwork, discipline, and personal growth. His years on the field taught him that every child has unique strengths waiting to be discovered—and he wanted to build a space where children could grow emotionally, socially, and physically.

Dana brings a nurturing spirit and deep understanding of childhood development. With a lifelong passion for working with kids, she saw a real need in their community for a safe, enriching early childhood program that balances education and play.

Together, Kevin and Dana founded Kid Champion not just as a daycare, but as a vibrant learning center where Little Rock families feel supported and every child is encouraged to explore, learn, and thrive. Their mission is to foster confidence and curiosity in each child—laying the foundation for future leaders, athletes, and innovators.

FAQ

  • We maintain small class sizes to ensure personalized care and attention. Additionally, classroom capacity depends on age group and subsequent adherence to Arkansas licensing ratios, but ranges begin at 5 children per one teacher.

  • Yes, Kid Champion offers full time as well as part-time options to the families we serve. 3 days a week, (Monday, Wednesday, Friday) and 2 days a week (Tuesday / Thursday) are available options.

  • Families are encouraged to bring a copy of immunization records, diapers, prepared bottles, wipes and the food they prefer their child to eat. Families may also bring rash cream, a change of clothes, pacifiers, and a blanket.

  • Yes, provided the child’s guardian has given us with written permission.

  • Twice a day on average. We get outside as much as we can, but we stick to our indoor play area if it’s raining or too hot.

  • We have a no refund policy. We pay above market rates for our staff in order to attract the best talent and provide the best daycare experience in Little Rock. A no refund policy is one of many things that makes our level of care possible.
